About Georgetown

The 20007 zip code  is home to approximately 31,000 residents. Georgetown is located on the Potomac River and marked by Georgetown University to the west, and Dupont Circle and Foggy Bottom on the East. The neighborhood offers picturesque, narrow, tree lined streets, parks, tennis courts, and weekly farmers markets. You will find small, local businesses nestled in the neighborhood, with major retailers, boutiques, restaurants and luxury hotels located along M Street and Wisconsin Avenue.

Wisconsin Avenue is the main, north-south traffic artery.  It can be thought of the dividing line between the “west” and “east” village. This historic and highly walkable neighborhood is well known for row homes built circa 1900. It’s also known for its full service, luxurious condo buildings along the waterfront. The location also offers access to Virginia via the Key, Roosevelt and Chain Bridges by way of Route 50 and 66, as well as the Capitol Beltway 395.
